Hound: A Parallel Image Distribution System for Cluster Based on Docker

چکیده
Current applications, consisting of multiple replicas, are packaged into lightweight containers with their execution dependencies. Considering the dominant impact distribution efficiency gigantic images on container startup (e.g., distributed deep learning application), image “warm-up” technique which prefetches these replicas to destination nodes in cluster is proposed. However, current solely focuses identical distribution, fails take effect when distributing different nodes. To address this problem, paper proposes Hound, a simple but efficient system based Docker. support diverse requests nodes, Hound additionally adopts node-level parallelism (i.e., downloading parallel) further improve distribution. The experimental results demonstrate outperforms Docker, kubernetes runtime interface (CRI-O), and Docker-compose terms performance request images. Moreover, high scalability evaluated scenario ten

Cluster-Based Parallel Image Processing
Many image processing tasks exhibit a high degree of data locality and parallelism and map quite readily to specialized massively parallel computing hardware. However, as workstation clusters are becoming a viable and economical parallel computing resource, it is important to understand how to use these environments for parallel image processing as well. In this paper we discuss our implementat...

This paper describes the PelicanHPC distribution of GNU/Linux, which can be used for rapid and simple creation of a cluster for MPI-based parallel computing. Di erent usage models are discussed, including short term ad-hoc clustering versus a long term, remotely administered cluster, and the possibilities for mixing real and virtualized hosts. Means of customizing the distribution for speci c t...
متن کاملa new type-ii fuzzy logic based controller for non-linear dynamical systems with application to 3-psp parallel robot
abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...
15 صفحه اولA Cluster-Based Parallel Face Recognition System
The objective of content-based face recognition is to efficiently find and retrieve face images from the database that satisfy the criteria of similarity to the user's query face image. When the database is large and the face image features are complex, the exhaustive search of the database and computation of the face image similarities is not expedient. We use clusters to accelerate the face f...
